By registering for or using LogVey, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use LogVey.
LogVey is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform operated by Personal Studio Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16866517). Personal Studio Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC143539. LogVey enables waste receiving sites to log waste arrivals and submit waste tracking data to the Defra Digital Waste Tracking API.

To use LogVey you must:

⚠ You are legally responsible for the accuracy of waste tracking data submitted to Defra through LogVey. LogVey submits the data you provide. We do not verify the accuracy of carrier details, EWC codes, quantities, or permit references you enter. Submitting false data to Defra may constitute a criminal offence under environmental legislation.
LogVey is a tool to help you meet your digital submission obligations. Compliance with environmental regulations, including holding the correct permits and submitting accurate data, remains your responsibility.
LogVey is integrated with and listed on the Defra Digital Waste Tracking software provider register. LogVey is not endorsed, accredited, or approved by Defra. We are an independent software provider that has passed Defra's Provider Acceptance Testing requirements.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Defra API. If Defra's systems are unavailable, submissions through LogVey may be delayed. We will notify users of known outages where possible.
During the founding beta period, LogVey is offered at £29 per site per month. Pricing may change after the founding beta period ends. Users on founding beta pricing will be given at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect on their account.
Payment terms and billing arrangements will be provided separately when billing is activated. During the pre-billing period, access is provided subject to review and approval.
We aim to provide LogVey with high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take LogVey offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
LogVey is provided during a founding beta period. Features, pricing, and service terms may change as the product develops.
LogVey, including its software, design, content, and LogVey™ trade mark, is owned by Personal Studio Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in LogVey.
You retain ownership of the waste tracking data you submit through LogVey. By using LogVey, you grant us a limited licence to process that data to provide the service, including submitting it to Defra on your behalf.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@logvey.co.uk.
We may suspend or terminate your access to LogVey if:
On termination, your access to LogVey will cease. We will retain your waste movement records for the period required by law (7 years) and make them available to you on request during that period.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of LogVey after changes constitute acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you may close your account before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
